I went to the bank the other day to sign papers. It was odd that the lobby was closed to anybody without an appointment.

Inside where a bunch of "newcomers" and none of them were speaking English. There was French mixed in, which I know well enough to get around in Quebec, but it was different. I'm guessing it was Creole. Staff were accompanied by an interpreter.

I'm guessing my town got a shipment in recently.
