The voting machines we use gives us the option of printing a paper copy to review BUT it stays with the machine. If we press print copy, the machine prints it on a little printer next to the machine and we review it page by page. But the copy remains attached to the printer and is under glass. I'm a weirdo who prints everything but I've noticed most of the other voters don't. Any idea what happens to the printed copy? And should I encourage other voters to print for review? TIA!

I always print because I feel like the tape on the machine should correspond in some way w the machine count.
But they could just throw out the tape so who knows…
