I do believe that Columbus launched an expedition of ships from Spain that landed in Hispaniola, and that his landing in the New World was a great feat.

I have a great many old books, handed down through the generations. One is an original Irving's Columbus 1834. I tend to believe older sourced material that I do info that comes from the Internet unless I can ensure that that material is same as original source.
