207 Ron Paul warns that the US military was just “authorized to kill Americans on US soil … I think it’s very, very dangerous.” Daniel McAdams: “It’s not a law, it’s a DoD Directive. So, this is the administrative state, where they take over, they don’t pass laws." Page 13, 3.3! Really or are you just Handshake account Shillin? I really hope you’re not this dense.
See my other comments. That is a restriction. There's no new authorization.
The DOD DIRECTIVE on force has been around a while. It was policy all through Trump's administration
“Reading the actual document just now. https://www.esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/DD/issuances/dodd/524001p.PDF?ver=UpTwJ66AyyBgvy7wFyTGbA%3d%3d And there's no such authorization.”
Your original statement. Means you’re saying it doesn’t exist. Yes you clarified, but long after we were already checking you.
But yes you did clarify. So, your are not Shillin. Prior statement without current clarification was Shilly.
All good.
Again this document is not granting anything. Nothing significant happened with regards to authorization to kill with this document.
This document just covers permissions to assist other US agencies or civil agencies. And in these certain cases it limits who can authorize it.
There's literally nothing about authorization of force here that didn't exist a month ago or didn't exist under Donald Trump's presidency.
My original statement is still correct. It's about correctly reading the document and understanding the original context.
