Neither Walz nor Vance get the full truth on abortion, either: https://www.liveaction.org/news/vp-candidates-debate-vance-walz-wrong-abortion/
How about naming 7 things the countries needs, instead of being selfish.
As a Mom & daughter, Iβd add access to retirement communities that are safe, and offer a continuation of care as they age. My Mom is in a place like this, where they provide rides to medical appointments, have a meal plan to supplement her own cooking, offer additional staff to help with medication etc. Caring for the elderly can take a lot time and energy so having them in a safe environment where they get assistance really helps.
Add to that: Retirement communities that aren't Pharma gulags.
My departed darling and I provided care for an elder friend, last 12 years of his life, and the last 4 of that we helped him get into a 55+ community so he could have a town apartment near us (as well as his rural home and land) for when he needed extra care after health challenges.
"Covid" turned that place into a literal prison camp. He stayed at our house a lot, at that time, so he could do things like work out (exercise room was closed) and walk the halls without being attacked by masktard stasi-karens.
Also had an elder friend who lost a leg and most of her heart, not being allowed to leave her community for a specialist appointment after minor knee surgery. That small localized infection turned into a major infection/sepsis, and she nearly died, and is not just a shell of her former self.
I also would like to see some consideration of what happens when wives become widows, and are taxed up the wazoo in 100 different ways, on savings they and their husbands built together. A widow should get a different tax status than a single woman IMO.
This is an issue of removing Federal agency control over such communities and turning it over to the states or local goverrnment.
Some of those are not the role of the Federal government.
I agree, but by not meddling in the free market, the federal government can improve the situation. At least in the case of 2, and to some degree, 3 the issue is removing government regulations.
Certainly is, as part of the Constitutional government's duty is to guard against enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Should be handled at the state level.
Is a remove government regulations issue - at the Federal level.
Is a state and local issue, but if our taxes are being used for schools at the local level anyway, parents should at least have some choice about schools -including homeschool.
