Look for a naturopathic doctor. They believe in healing. At the very least, they can prescribe a natural thyroid, like Armour, while you work with them on healing. I’m have done this and slowly I’m needing less of the natural thyroid over time.

I've been trying to find one, they seem to be scarce where I'm at. Regular doctors are only glorified pharmacists at this point.
