In the Bible, it talks about a new heaven and a new earth. Rev 21:2, 2 Peter 3:13, Isaiah 65:17, It talks about in the blink of an eye we will be changed, 1 Cor 15:52. I look forward to that part of the show the most, but I have to admit, if that part of the show is a few days away, or a few months away, or however much longer is needed, I am so grateful He led me here to this forum to go through these exciting and also uncertain times together with y'all! I love this GAW family!
Glad you are here, fren. I think, however, you should also consider if those references in scripture are symbolic and metaphorical language.
Eg. "how did you sleep?" I"real good. I feel like a new man". Not literal, obviously, but using metaphorical language to describe something more abstract.
From the viewpoint of eternity, I suspect that our lives on Earth will seem very much like "the blink of an eye".
