I'm in Canada, and even under shit Trudeau, 2016-2020 was the most prosperous time of my life. I got a great job, bought 2 cars, a house, and started a family. We lived a comfortable, relaxed, middle class life and I actually felt really great about everything, especially financially! Never wealthy, but we could afford our needs, reasonable wants, the occasional vacation, not to mention a house and family!
Even at the start of the pandemic, things were shitty but looking up... however, since 2021 my life has gone to shit and my wife and I are really struggling to pay the bills and get by. But we are still both still employed at the same places?! The problem is living costs are up 40%, interest has more than doubled, and insurance costs have more than tripled in Canada.
Many feel the same way. So many people are feeling like they will never own a home, have kids, even be able to move out of their parent's basement!
Can you imagine how prosperous we'd ALL be if Trump had remained in office from 2021 until now?! It's outrageous.
Thats because Trudeau let the federal reserve go from $0 interest to almost 6%. Thats what caused a good part of the shit also shutting down pipelines, trying to get everyone to go to electric. Trudeau spent as much in his time then all other prime ministers combined. He has given billions and billions out to other countries that hat us he increased the amount of muslims by 6 million since he has been in office. Now he has to take and take and take from all of us to pay back all that money he spent in foreign lands. All those muslims coming in have tons of kids and they get $600 a month per kid. Everyone now has to pay for his BS which means you will end up with nothing.
We need to end the pattern where the worst thing that ever happens is they are forced to step down and receive a generous severance package.
Ghaddafi never did the evil things Trudeau did. Saddam Hussein never did the evil things the recent non-Trump presidents did.
Bbbbut the economy is booming so much that Social Security recipients only need a 2.5% increase for 2025! /s
(Of course, Medicare is going up 5.9% so . . . )
The US is slowly sinking as well. Everything changes in 2021 here as well. I honestly have no idea how people are paying the bills at this point
While we saw a reprieve in 2016-2020, TBH, things started going to shit in 2008. Im just now back to making what I was in 2010 ish, but everything costs double.
It's true. I graduated 2009 and had such difficulty finding work. In fact I only actually found a proper job in my field in 2018. Those lost 10 years a lot of people have had, and it makes a HUGE difference.
