I don't know what the photo was though...

I'm guessing it was either Papa Scherff shooting Kennedy or in some instantly recognizable compromised situation...

Yes, but they all thought he died of "natural causes" before getting small letters of presidential stationary that read something like "I'm sorry. I told them everything." with Bush's signature below.
