My thoughts are that these scriptures are not about our works to earn salvation, but celebrations to understand God’s plan and experience and understand more closely God’s works / God’s part of His plan?

Bingo. They give better insight into what we need to be doing, how God has worked, and how God will work, so that we can synchronize.
