Millions of Cubans were left without power on Friday after a failure at a power plant, the communist government said.

Nigeria also went dark a few days ago. I'd keep an eye on the multiple countries idea. I don't think the drops said anything about a single place or consecutive days. When asked when, the answer was "shutdown" which could be now if it refers to congress...
