I think removing widespread internet access may be what triggers the great awakening. We weren't meant to be connected all the time, and for many people, it creates an artificial world of escapism. Too easy to get delusional ideas. I think in the future, internet access will be greatly restricted. We will live like our grandparent did by working the land, living in the moment with our family and friends, going to baseball games and reading the newspaper. Misuse of technology will be seen for what it is, and dealt with accordingly.
