I live just outside a very small village in Michigan. The 2010 census says the population is less than 500. Today my husband ran across a post from a community member complaining that the local VFW had been the scene of a get together by "Mexicans". The guests left a huge mess of trash and someone decided to leave a big pile of human feces in the outfield of the ball field behind the bldg. Our kids play ball there.
I realize in the great scheme of things this isn't a big deal. I mention it here to illustrate that no matter how small your town is, you have to be prepared for the invasion of a culture unlike what many of us are used to.
First, please don't assume all Hispanics are Mexicans. Second, it really honestly is time to stop playing polite and start making people uncomfortable. It's not Christian to help destroy a successful country. Workers' dignity can be achieved in their own countries. In fact, it MUST be that way.
Publish photos of the disaster, post papers with the photos and name names. I'm Hispanic and I know full well there are gringos who can be just as disgusting, but there is a special disrespect when it's not your town or your country. That level of disrespect should not be allowed to pass.
I totally agree. I certainly didn't intend to offend. The word Mexican was in quotes meaning I didn't say it but the OP. I understand what you mean and yes, we should push back. As I understand the post was made after they culprits had vacated and the mess tended to. I can have righteous indignation but my effort would be mute at this point. I just wanted other small communities to hear about it since we often have a 'that wouldn't happen here attitude'. We can't afford to do that at this point. The illegals, no matter where they are from, are coming to our towns.
