Nah. It doesn't affect me (eye of the beholder and all of that). I'm proud of what I do and defend my profession frequently and , if the need arises, using ruthless sarcasm. The line I used in the post was something my chef once told me (paraphrased), and it stuck with me since those early days. I just feel for those who do let it bother them, and defend them as well. Thanks all the same.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience Chef. Unfortunately some people only feel superior by trying to make others feel inferior. It's their loss.
