Neither did I. I actually manage to use the high IQ I have, according to the Mensa test, from time to time. :D
(And yes, I also understand Ikea assembly instructions very well, those tests seem to be mostly for testing the ability to think in three D and to see connections between things a bit better, and having a slightly faster than average processing speed, talents which are mostly useless for anything but visual puzzles in real life unless you are trained to use them for other things. I'm not.)
