They're mad that he thought to do it.
They're mad because he pulled it off and it made him more personable. They're mad because it highlights one of Kamala's lies and also mocks her. They hate being mocked.

25 year olds hating their life still working at fast food places are the core left wing youth voter base.

They hate this because Trump is like every senior I see working at these places. They're happy, upbeat and friendly because it's the easiest job they've ever done.
