Other than an occasional incident, I still fail to understand why voters choosing to use mail in ballots aren't expected to be responsible for getting their ballot in by the deadline. I take almost all mail to the post office and get it postmarked so should there be a delay with the post office, I have proof it was mailed well in advance of the deadline.
