I've read this post five times and I'm still not quite clear on what you're trying to get across here.

There's a lot of people helping who or what?

They did prosecutions of the type of things...

I'm not sure which "they"s go where in that sentence.

Hush money as a campaign finance violation would trip up hundreds of office holders.

That wasn't part of the case with Ms. Carrol. So... are you now including the Stormy Daniels scandal? Or...?

And also, what does the SAVE act have to do with any of this?
