I read some time ago that a scientist conducted an experiment with, iirc, tuberculosis patients. They were each paired with a dairy cow and instructed to milk the cow every day, and drink that cow's milk every day. The theory was that the person's infection would cause an immune reaction from that cow that would produce antibodies that would then find their way into the milk, that that person would then drink.
I thought it was an interesting experiment, and I bet it showed some degree of success.
Aside from that, raw milk has many biota in it that benefit our intestines and therefore overall health.
