But her father had a black (Afro-Jamaican if you will) mother.

According to those who knew Grandma Beryl, she was white-ish. Lady C had a guest who fondly remembers Miss Beryl. The pictures that Kamambla had her in her book were not of Beryl even though she labeled the pictures as such.

Maybe I am out of my mind but "Lady C's" guest seemed bullshitty to me. To my eyes her body language looked like she was making it up.
