Exactly. The democrats/DS were sure that Trump was going to use the Constitutional process to win the election that day. A house member and senator object to a state; discussion and a vote. But each state only gets one vote. Thereby the Republicans had more votes. Nancy put the Congress into emergency session and would not allow that process to proceed.
