Highly recommend that you drop AMC and roll that money into something else.
AMC was never a short squeeze play. The media pulled a switcheroo on everyone: AMCX (American Classical Movies Channel) was the short that everyone had, not AMC.
AMC was used as hedge stock to help the funds stop the bleeding caused by their short bets on the basket of stocks (which included GME). Further, AA and the CFO currently own no shares in the company.
No thanks. It's still being insanely shorted. The "play" with AMC is FAR riskier than GME for sure. That being said, I don't have much in it. But it is still viable from a number of different angles.
Also, AA does shares in AMC. That said, again, compared to GME? My holdings in AMC are about 1% of that volume. I even have significantly more in DJT vs. AMC.
It's just being held to screw the shorts on the off chance they get out of the debt spiral while the hedgies are already getting crushed by GME/Silver/DJT/PLTR/etc.
