God doesn't interfere in everything we do because that would violate free will.
The Ten Commandments were given for a reason—God knew that "false gods" would arise and use religious texts to mislead people. One commandment, "Thou shalt not bow down to graven images," addresses this.
False gods often manipulate through words and language, so it’s no surprise that religious texts might be altered or hijacked over time.
I don't believe God would simply wave His hand to stop someone from changing the Bible—that's not how He works.
God isn’t going to wave his magic hand to stop free will.
If bad actors wanted to change the text.
God isn’t going to wave his hand and telepathically mind control the bad actors like Charles Xavier from the X-men.

Most wars are fought because we have people arguing over text scriptures.
Which makes them violate God’s commandment of thou shall not kill.
Their argument would be.
It’s ok to kill because the scripture says we are right.
I don’t live by scripture.

That’s pretty much exactly how He works when it comes to His Word.
Refer to Jeremiah 36:21-28
