This morning early voting in Michigan was no question a record where I live just north of Detroit in the suburbs I got there at 9:00 and there was already 200 people there they said it was the most people that ever seen for early voting by the time we were done the line was out the door the majority of the people there were Trump supporters and I know that because there was an 89 year old man today was his birthday who said I'm here to save our democracy and I looked at him and said your votes going to do that make America great again and people started cheering all around us except for the couple people in their masks. My guess would be every early voting place looked just like the one I was at

My township in the western Metro Detroit area also saw long lines. The total population is just over 19k and I think every eligible voter was there right at 8 am. lol So word definitely got out that President Trump wants us to vote early.
I took my nephew to vote and hand delivered my very old, housebound parents absentee ballots. The township clerk took me in the back and walked me through the entire process. I got to watch the signature verification and the time stamps put on the ballots. The entire process from the request for ballot to counting was explained.
They dont get counted until election day and they do this in house. There are two counting stations. One is in the Township Hall and the second is in the Township Police building next door.
I asked about the drop boxes outside and the clerk told me they collect them each hour and they undergo the same process I witnessed. He told me that they have four cameras monitoring the drop box , two in the secure room they hold them in, one on the door to that room and several others throughout the building. Outside, one gets the front of the vehicle as it enters and one gets the license plate as they leave. The other two are for facial recognition.
Im not really worried too too much about my Townships accuracy or the County as a whole. We are an island of red in a sea of blue and I am unaware of any election that wasnt a clean sweep by Republicans in the 50 years Ive been living here. That includes National, State and local elections.
My niece and her husband, my brother and my sister and brother in law are all voting tomorrow in a different township nearby.
I took both my teenage kids to vote for their first time today and their nanny who is basically their grandfather all four of us went and voted to make America great again
