If you take an amtrak from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington, you will pass through a ravine where there is a small mountain of hundreds of shopping carts that have been thrown from the bluff ahead, which is obviously a shopping center.

People laugh as they pass it. You can laugh or you can cry. It's almost like a public art but the message is that people are animals. It makes you recoil at how incredibly selfish and vile MANY people are. I thought seriously one time about going there and dismantling it and repatriating the shopping carts.
