I don’t believe anyone here is not absolutely horrified about any harm done unto children. However when you have been outraged for years on end you tend to become desensitized. I will make it clear that the slaughtering of any children is a horrible evil act. I personally condemn both sides in that war and have encountered many frens her who feels the same. There are people on our side who feel because they are Christian’s that they have to support Israel no matter what. However I believe there’s a stark difference between Gods chosen people of Israel and those who live there today. Harming children and the innocent is not something that should ever be done in the name of God. Both sides will get their due justice in time. That’s if they don’t take each other out first. Prayers for the children is our most important weapon in these times and our prayers should include both the children of Israel AND those of Gaza. 🙏
Israel is no longer God's chosen people, you are right. When the Jews killed Jesus, (He let them, willingly - John 10) and Peter spoke on Pentacost and those 3,000 were baptized, they weren't all Israelites. Remember when they were speaking in tongues in the beginning of Acts 2 (tongues are languages that people can understand never in scripture does speaking in tongues mean some made up gibberish to generate revenue and enthusiasm) you can see how many nations were represented there. And then the Ethiopian eunic's baptism in Acts 8, Cornelius (a Roman centurion) and all his house, the Philippian jailer and his house all baptized. Israel no longer is significant in anyway other than it's history because they denied God and persecuted and killed every prophet that God sent them. Hence the parable about the owner of the vineyard having his workers and then finally his son killed when they were sent to collect.
