I actually started to think that's the most likely explanation for a lot of things. Solves the problem of evil, for example. I wouldn't be surprised if superhuman AI starts telling us that it's obvious.
I'm pretty sure that he's in on the whole thing. In fact, if he's taken out like the end of the movie Civil War, he probably doesn't care. Just respawns in simulation heaven. But who knows... we're getting way into the land of speculation here, and I don't want to lose credibility since the near-term predictions are much more concrete and reliable.
Trump either created the assassination attempt and sold it to Cheney/NATO/BlackRock, or he intercepted it and protected himself. Either way works. Either way, should be exposed very, very soon, probably Wed. Nov. 6.
