If anyone has an account on c/Christianity, they’re pushing abstainment from voting over there - I assume because Trump rather impolitely keeps kicking Satan in his former balls, instead of kindly holding the door open for him and handing him a hymnal, as would befit a true Christian.
I don’t want the kind of tongue lashing I would give to be my first post there.
For anyone who still happens to think Politics has no place in religion, or vice versa…. Charlie Kirk put the second one quite nicely. “People may think religion is separate from politics, but nobody thinks morality is separate from it, and religion is a path of discerning morality.”
For the first, King David would like to discuss Revelation 1:6.
In the absence of light, there is only darkness. SO LIGHT UP THE DARKNESS

And remember, voting is the least we can do.
Amen! Well said! 👏
so this is a great interview with that pastor that went viral for telling democrat voters to get out of his church.
between him and the host, they make an excellent case for dispelling this holier-than-thou nonsense about not voting for Trump because he's a sinner.
it's a great listen. the podcast is an hour, but iirc, that segment only takes up the first 20min.

There’s a difference between not being perfect, or even walking in appropriate levels of righteousness… and actively advocating for the devil.
Reminds me of HomeAlone's 'you filthy animals!' lol
