Yesterday he wished Happy Diwali and today All Saints Day. Note, he never commented on Halloween. He knows how dark that holiday is. Hope people wake up to it and stop observing it.
So what's the deal with All Saints Day anyway? What is it supposed to be and why do we dress up and go asking for candy? I never understood that. Also the thing with the vail being thin. I thought Christ already tore the vail.
All Hallows Eve is what is now called Halloween. All Saints Day is November 1st. It’s a traditional Christian Holy day to remember and celebrate the Church Triumphant, aka the Saints in Heaven, and ask them to pray to the Lord for us on earth, aka the Church Militant. The dressing up and asking for candy thing is a modern invention and has nothing to do with the original holy day. As for the thin veil thing, that’s a satanic idea that’s been around for a long time, a mockery and inversion of the actual celebration. Pretty much all satanic customs are inversions and mockeries of traditional Catholic customs. Satan hates the Church.
Thanks. So there is no link between Hallow's Eve and Hallow's Day (I'm presuming the Hallow's Day label, as "Eve" signifies the evening before the day, like Christmas Eve)? I'm wondering if there may have been a link but then the Eve portion of the two got perverted somewhere along the way. And now we go ask our neighbors "trick or treat" and get candy lol.
I'm gonna guess that the vail being thin portion was something pagans believed and it's been carried over. Do you know if they had any concrete reasoning as to why this season would correlate to a thinner vail, beyond superstition?
Exactly, it’s just like Christmas Eve, just the night before the day.
I don’t know where the thin veil idea come from originally, but I bet you’re correct about it being a pagan ritual originally. I’m not aware of any reasoning behind it other than it’s for sure a satanic belief meant to mock the idea that we are asking the saints to pray for us that day, so they say the veil is thin so they can talk to all the demons.
I mean if we're in Christ and they're in Christ in Heaven I'd think they could hear us no matter how thick or thin any vail is lol. The vail concept in and of itself is interesting to me though. When Christ gave up His Spirit the vail was torn in the 2nd temple, signifying the removal of the separation between God and man. So this other vail sounds like something God has in place to prevent the infernal spirits from messing with us. I'm fascinated with stuff like this!

Originally it was "Hallowed Eve" to All Saints day. But don't tell the demons, they'll go all split-pea-soup on you.

You’re welcome.
