Hello, friends! Is anyone familiar with policy on early voting for the polling place closing with voters in line?
If people are in line do they have to let you vote? I am in line at the local library and rumored down the line is that they will close the doors at a certain time. If you're in line and not inside the doors, then too bad. Try again later. I am just curious if there are any "rules" to this.
TIA!
All states are different.
Depends on your county policies or even individual polling station policy.
Best way to find out is to look up your county's polling station policy. Or... simply hold someone's place in line for them to walk in and ask a poll worker.
Depends on where you are I think.
Thank you everyone! Today was my lucky day and I was the cut off point. Whew.
Call your county clerk's office and ask them
