I think they're experiencing some kind of collective disassociation / disconnection from their body / mind / reality or something. Because it takes a LOT of mental gymnastics to defend your candidate when every SINGLE day, there's a new fellow of utterly questionable integrity and standards joining them. Be it Diddy's doll J.Lo; or whatever the fuck this insanity even is.

I think they're quite literally turning into madmen (and madwomen) in front of our very eyes here. Quite bizarre to see, really. Almost tragic even, at this point.

The 4-6% analogy is indeed an apt little descriptor for these ones.
