Reddit was 100% libertarian tech bros in 2000-2006, then it started to become popular.. That is when the Obama campaign first bought off the r/politics mods. This was also before any 'vote fuzzing', so you could watch it happen in real time.
Submit a pro-Paul article, and within 1min it had 100's of downvotes. Submit a pro-Obama piece and it was the exact opposite. 100's of upvotes far before reasonable. Also then it was shown they were using early bots to instant downvote any upvote certain users did to make them zero-value.
