They're still going with the "muh tooth decay" in the poorer households excuse. Laughable because it would have no effect even if you held a mouthful of water in your mouth all day every day, but also because the poorer households don't teach toothbrushing and tend to eat a lot of sugar, with it being the cheapest source of calories. Anyway that's all moot, they do it because it harms your children, and they love causing strife.
