Any others out there?
I wonder if a cure doesn't exist for my disease, much like many others, that isn't propagated because it's not profitable.

My understanding is that type 1 results from a destruction of the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas. This can be caused by a vaccine, antibiotic or anything that triggers the immune system into attacking the pancreas.
The first thing to do is to determine whether the pancreas is still under attack and to prevent that attack. I can only guess that some drugs such as Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, steroids and antihistamines might do something useful. But if you leave it until the pancreas is destroyed then I don't think there's much hope. The liver is the only organ that can significantly regenerate.
You can control type 1 diabetes by removing the need for insulin; that means sticking to a strictly ketone diet. Even then, you'll probably require small amounts of insulin because carbohydrates can't be avoided completely but, since insulin spikes are very harmful to the body, less is good.
