I wish Trump would either get an actual law passed, or just do an executive order, that states that anyone renting to an illegal will be fined $1000/day until they are evicted, and businesses hiring illegals will be fined $1000/day for each illegal employee until they are fired. Give them a reasonable deadline, like the end of February, but on March 1, the fines begin accruing.
No, landlords have been tricked in CA, and illegals slipped in. It is harder to get an illegal out than a citizen, in California. I have one and if I try it will cost me thousands I don't have.
I rented to a Green card holder and he planted me with his baby mama that thought we invited her. She had a great place in Venezuela and wanted the same here for $700. She had a 3 bedroom apartment with everything. She wants a dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator. all new pretty lights, new windows. She was told off that she better shut up or I might just double her rent by her family. I could easily get that but I don't raise rents unless I have to. I even lowered rent for my best tenants, when they had problems.
There are very many Mexicans and other South Americans working, and living, where I live. I'm guessing the number of them here legally is miniscule. I can't wait until they all leave, either voluntarily or by deportation. As to the argument that they are mostly good people, I agree to a certain extent, but they broke the law to live here. If they really want to become American citizens I'm all for it. But they have to go through the same waiting time, fees and paperwork that previous immigrants did.
PDJT has said that there will be a MASSIVE OUT-FLUX OF ILLEGALS LEAVING THIS COUNTRY---->VOLUNTARILY.
The rest will be found and deported...EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!

OTHER countries have immigration laws...and they have NO trouble enforcing them...except for England, France & Canada...
But, I do agree with the sentiment of if one is here illegally, self-deport or you will be picked up and escorted out!!! 'nough said!!!
