My dear friend...I have so much more reason to rejoice of late...the best news is that Christina's driver's license wasn't revoked so she was able to get a replacement license for ten dollars. She now has the means to be more selective in her work. Her insurance went down $30.00 and she has renewed her social work license, which was due to be renewed in October. The Lord is really blessing her with some unexpected grace and mercy. She is a clean slate and can rebuild her life however she wants. There are probation constraints and lots of money involved but freedom never smelled so good.

I visited her last week and was able to help her accomplish a lot of things that needed to be done and it was such a precious time to spend with her...I feel so positive for her. We had some good discussion on the (in)justice and penal systems that are so broken. Because she is a social worker she can see so much that needs to be done to help people. The system is totally set up for failure, but I have every confidence that there was so much purpose in everything that has happened. You know how much I have appreciated your prayers...you have been such a blessing to hold my family up in prayer. God is so good and sometimes it is hard to be a vessel that can be used by God for greater purpose...but it is so worthwhile to discover ourselves in ways that we can't even imagine.

You are always in my thoughts and prayers...you and Mary have been so encouraging. God is so good and loves us so much. So I am glad that you noticed the bounce in my step and the joy in my heart!!!
