In this video, several points are made about our daily lives here on earth. Particularly the fact that we never really own our property and property taxes keep everyone constantly on the gerbil wheel to "keep the sheriff off the doorstep" until your last dying day.
It's rather repugnant that they've got us squeezed from cradle to grave and these "governments", which in theory are SUPPOSED TO be working for the common good of the country's citizens, do just the opposite.
Eliminating property tax in the US would be monumental. Many bring up the idea that "municipal services" need to be paid for like trash pickup and street maintenance... but those things could be paid for in other ways - and they would be. Think about it...roads would certainly still get built and maintained by us no matter what.
These incorporated towns are businesses... and if you take a moment to roughly tally up how much money is collected (a staggering amount) and hold it up against what we're actually getting... MANY questions come up ...
