Asking for my "horse" as he is very I'll and would rather avoid Dr's. I would assume if he is between a 200-250 lb horse he would simply follow that dosing?
The confusion I'm having is all of info I can find about dosing refers to pills not the paste. Also, from what I've read its a one and done for a while or can you stack on doses? What I read say's toxicity builds up after repeated doses but wondering if propaganda to deter use.
Last point I'll make another fren had pointed out in a different thread both Pancur and Ivermectin are made by Merck...I must admit makes me a bit uneasy knowing this. Any recommendations on dosing would be greatly appreciated; thanks frens!
Monthly is the frequency for many animals maintenance...Heart worm for K9s is once a month for instance (ivermectin)
Essentially, the capsicum burns the living chit out of parasites and they retreat post haste...
Got it; just to be on the safe side for this it looks like I'm reading daily dose 2 weeks on 1 off etc.
But from what your saying that dose is a much more concentrated dose and thus once a month. Thank you!
Correct... once a month is typically a maintenance dose in animals. Dosage is important or they'll build up a tolerance.
Like in dogs...HeartGard is crap now and ineffective. Frontline works (for now) but is prescription only. Everything has a price as they say...
Makes sense to me...same argument as antibiotic resistance. Yeah Frontline hits heavy but dosage is important. A family member gave it to a ferret when I was a kid and it caused the ferret to lose its hair. Heart guard I agree is garbage. Thanks TaQo!
👍🏻 Glad I could help a little.
Others are much more an authority on the subject as me...
I'm just a dumb dirt farmer 😁
