Wow never thought of the weaponizing of the dollar, exactly why I come here. I honestly think a decentralized approach like you’re saying is the way out. Smaller farms, better prices to incentivize those who wish to farm to have a reason to jump in. I know from personal experience buying land to start is the biggest hurdle it’s ultra competitive especially when you have to go against housing developers. I’m praying for some sort of farmland preservation program of sorts kind of locking land in and making sure small farmers have a chance. I really appreciate your input you got my smooth brain to jog a bit.
Happy to help, I love the thoughts that come about from this discussion.
I've thought about farming and food production a lot.
Look at a place like Ireland on Google maps. The entire place is farm land. Every sq foot of the country is farming. Surely they would be under an abundance?
Google says "Ireland is A small island of 7 Million people - that produces enough food to feed 45 Million.
Now look at a place like Eastern Canada. Where are the farms? Is it really cheaper to have almost none rather than commit some land to growing?
I think the revolution in Canada will be bigger than people think, once the Canadians get control over their own land and resources, the place will be booming.
Praying for that for you brother. That’s an insane stat about Ireland. I know it wasn’t that long ago relatively that everyone here and in Canada farmed or at least had family farming. It’s evil how these elites coerced everyone to move to cities for work during the Great Depression. Something tells me this was all orchestrated. to control the food is to control the people! And start small brother backyard garden style. Chickens for eggs and the chicken litter is the best fertilizer out there. I hope you follow thru with some sort of independent food production even if it’s just for you and your neighbors. We have to be the revolution we want to see!! Much love from the states fren!
