And tell them to re-imagine an American educational system that is efficient, will work among all students, takes advantage of technology, prepares students for the real world, helps identify the strengths of each child early enough to tailor education to their needs and eliminates useless, boring, non-essential elements.
I bet they could do a magnificent job in less that 3 days and devise a system that would propel our youth to heights they never imagined at a cost far less than what we pay now.
I know someone who taught classes at the phone company. The classes lasted 2-3 weeks. After retiring, he taught the same classes at a local university. They lasted 3 months, because the college could only handle classes that lasted the entire quarter. He had to make up stuff for students to do to stretch out the classes. No wonder so many are bored.
