My thoughts from another thread. No more pearl clutching! I heard a senate lawyer on Glenn Beck this morning. He explained very well why Trump didn’t get involved and why it is a secret vote. But he also explained (and I didn’t realize this) the real leader of the Senate is JD Vance. At any time that the majority leader is preventing the President’s agenda, the Vice President can come into the Senate and take his rightful position as President of the Senate and run things. Very interesting interview. ☺ Also, just an aside from me as a New Yorker. A day or two after Gov. Kathy Hochul and Latisha James were publicly trashing Pres Trump and saying they weren’t going to stop going after him…President Trump had a phone call with Hochul. And what do you know…her song changed to a new tune. Now she is going to work with the new administration. Right after Elise was announced as UN ambassador. I 100% believe Trump has something on ALL of them. How many times has he said “we’ve got it all”? I say, sit back and enjoy the show. The G.O.A.T. Has got it all covered! NCSWIC
