Yes, but Vance can step on his toes when ever he feels like it. And use a little extra heel when leaning.
The problem is, will he though?
On Vance, the Math Adds Up. On Thune, no it does not. Luckily Thune can be voted out if the GOP decides later that he truly sucks. And Vance can bring such things to the floor to vote on when ever he pleases. Thune can’t block the Senate President from bringing much of anything to the floor, if all is played right.
