Seattle finally starts throwing shoplifters and other petty criminals in jail for the first time in 4 years

The change reverses pandemic-era restrictions by King County that kept Seattle police from booking all but the most serious misdemeanors into the slammer.

Too little, but hopefully not too late. We'll see, though. The mayor and governor they just elected are about as Commie Left as you can get without actually moving to Beijing.

I would not be surprised if the new Governor wasn’t “elected”. I hope something gets done about our elections. This drop box and mail in only ballot crap has got to go!
