Families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims say the satirical news publication The Onion won the bidding for Alex Jones’ Infowars at a bankruptcy auction.

I find the purchase bizarre. Ok so there is some value to the name Infowars, but the only reason people watch Infowars is because of Alex Jones.

What stops him from just moving to a new brand? His audience then follows. I mean who pays attention to Project Veritas anymore without OKeefe? Same deal.

Then what is the value of the old brand? Not nearly as much since the traffic follows the person.

How does this really hurt him aside from some rebuilding? Seems weird to me.
