Americans used to want to do those jobs but employers preferred to hire illegals. Construction, lawn care, hotel maids, etc. Americans did those jobs until they were pushed out.
Not enough Americans want to pick crops? Up the number of temporary work permits for migrant workers. They come, work for wages higher than illegals, and go home to their families at the end of the season.
