The good things that happened because of this are:

Whoopie is now publicly outed as a liar, a whiner and a victim-hoaxer.
Whoopie is now likely too embarrassed to go to her favorite bakery again due to the false accusations against the bakery. This was her grandmother's favorite and due to Whoopie's own stupidity, she'll never be able to show her face in the place again.
The bakery owner has gotten so much good publicity and community goodwill that her new business is increased and donations are flowing in!
