Same here. I worked 30+ years in the Entertainment Industry in N. CA.. So glad I'm out.
The far-left Disneyfication and Hollyweirdo culture is not creative. Content is poorly-written and most times is poorly conceived due to crazy (and lazy) ass employees who would rather get on their phones, eat free snacks, go to the downtime play rooms several times a day than actually work. These employees believe "modern" remakes and DEI casting, not good characterization and story lines, make for great entertainment. Funny how the audience numbers are just not there. Excuses given are MAGA supporters and online Chuds scaring people away. What b.s..
There's free snacks and play rooms ? What the heck, we never had that in the factories!
Oh, yeah. And a gym. Used to have free daycare, but very few employees have kids these days so that was shut down. They used to give vouchers to parents with young children but last I heard that was no longer a perk. Many of the younger employees under 35 are immature and act like toddlers so they need their safe spaces and play areas to feel special. It's insane.
