They've lost a ton of experienced fighters and much needed vehicles while fighting mostly with Russian reserves other there.
Meanwhile the Russians have accelerated their gains in Donbass. They're now taking a couple of villages every day and are threatening to take their main supply base in Pokrovsk. If that town falls, I expect most of the front to collapse in that area.
