I would eat the patty only, if faced with a McDonalds muck-bang. I would avoid the bun because allergies, gluten-free buns tend to be stuffed with soy, so gluten-sensitivity is not really winning in the bread-replacement by food-chains idea. It is actually hard to find gluten and soy-free bread, BTW. So, sorry that bun just has to be chucked out, for me.
But if the fries were cut potato (not reconstituted pre-fried mashed potato) and fried in tallow, I would eat those too - so here's for hope. And prolly I'd check out the tomato sauce, after screening for maltodextrin. Tomato sauce can be just tomatoes, some spices, sugar and vinegar. For me, potatoes are a once-a-fortnite treat, so I would.
But, one can certainly make McDonalds a healthy snack if one just cut the artificial additives and junk vegetable oil, and I think RFK Jr. is up to that task. Even milkshakes can be more like protein shakes (not sugar fixes), and made to be frosty!
Being a diabetic, I use a carrot to temper the acidity of tomatoes in sauces, instead of sugar.
That said, you are absolutely correct about being able to make these places much more healthy easily.
Yes, carrot is very good indeed.
