"Foreign entanglement" includes such actions as provoking a war between two foreign countries. So, hundreds of billions of dollars spent on supposedly sparing American lives? Freedom? Explain to me how NOT entangling in war between other countries is going to save American lives. Oh right, the latter will 100% save Amercan lives, because there will be no war. Furthermore, such a policy might even provide more troops on the Southern Border (formerly they would have been stationed in some God-forsaken foreign land). So, why are all those moneys spent MAKING war, then? Something, something, weapons manufacurers; glad-handed politicians; important (in their heads) spooks on a mission to buying a condo in Florida, etc., etc. The safeguards that were in place in the constitution were meant to keep USA out of useless wars, and to protect the people living there, from foreign invasions. This whole proxy/endless wars strategy is a way to siphen away hard-earned, sweat-soaked US dollars, just to play imaginary, not really, akshully wars, as in, USA is not at war, but we need more weapons, they say.
The Russians are not fooled, they can see US' well-funded proxy that is now replacing men and officers with NATO dudes (but alas, not enough, because the USA has not akshully declared war - honest).
Meanwhile, the hungry jaws of a draft are waiting. Much as I love Trump, and I believe in the honorable tradition of going into armed services, and MAGA, there is a massive sucking sound coming from those not akshually wars. And if the draftees don't trust that they won't get stationed on a hellish front for freedom, how many people want to sign up for sudden death by war to protect the freedom of some sh!thole? Not many. Patriotic duty to protect the homeland? Well yes, of course. In my opinion, this whole spreading freedom and democracy thing is a clandestine attempt at 19th Century imperialism or idealistic missionaries going to tame the fuzzy-wuzzies.
Putin has warned that it is not the issue of how far, or deep the missiles can reach, but that those ATACMS missiles are guided by the USA satellites, built by the USA, and flown by USA service-members, quickly sheep-dipped to be Ukrainian, kinda, sorta.
The point is any arrivals of that sort means that Russians will understand that it is the USA that they are akshully fighting, in an undeclared war. And so, reciprocal action will mean some sort of blow (also undeclared) on the USA, actual, rather than just killing its mercs. My guess is the reciprocal action will be through a proxy/ally. Life is hard.
Ah, but that brings up several points
